A date has been revealed for the opening of a new Greek restaurant in the town centre.

The Real Greek has confirmed they will be opening in The Lexicon in Bracknell on Friday, December 4.

The new restaurant replaces Carluccio's unit in the town centre.

Nabil Mankarious, Managing Director at The Real Greek, said: “The Real Greek is delighted to be opening a brand new restaurant in The Lexicon in Bracknell – our 18th site.

"We have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed sustained demand for our authentic Greek food and drink at our restaurants across the country and The Lexicon is a brilliant location for our next restaurant. The new opening will provide new jobs for the Berkshire area."

Carluccio's Restaurant chains went into administration in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Nabil added: "We will launch with an exciting special offer for consumers and we will also be running a delivery and collection service from the moment we open.

"The new site has been designed with the health and safety of our staff and customers as our number one priority and also features outdoor seating, with heaters, for socially distanced al fresco dining.

"Whether people are dining in, taking away or eating outside, we will be able to offer delicious Greek food for the local community, who want a taste of the Eastern Mediterranean.”

The Real Greek offers a taste of Eastern Mediterranean food "where people have a passion for food, family and life."

Dishes at the restaurant have been inspired by this part of the world and diners can expect to enjoy traditional mezze platters, souvlaki wraps, halloumi and more!
