An artist 'emotionally moved' by the loss of Kate and William's dog Lupo decided to create something extra special for the Royal Princess.
Rob Ballentine was inspired to draw recently-deceased dog, Lupo the English Cocker Spaniel after reading how "heartbroken" the Duchess of Cambridge felt when he died.

The portrait artist, who grew up in Crowthorne, said this drawing was his proudest piece emotionally.
He said: "I saw an article, they were heartbroken by the loss. I know how it feels. I felt if this was something I could do to help them because I know how much these help people, then I would love to send it to them as a gift.
"This is one of the standout pieces, it’s a very complex piece, not so much in technique but in mood. I think it is beautiful."
Mr Ballentine has been busy drawing pet and human portraits after losing his job to Covid-19.

After 30 years, he picked up his pencils and drew a drawing for his wife's friend who was heartbroken after the loss of his best friend in lockdown.
He said: "I started my art after 30 years at beginning lockdown when I could no longer work. After drawing for my wife's friend who was also heartbroken after the loss of his best friend in Lockdown. Next thing everyone wanted one."
If the Royal household received the pet portrait of Lupo it would "mean everything" to the local artist.
Rob said: "If at the very minimum they get to see it that would make me immensely proud. Anything more, would be... I don’t know, I don’t have words."
Kate and Prince William were gifted Lupo after their wedding, as a present from the Duchess’ parents.
The dog’s death was announced last weekend on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s shared Instagram account, @kensingtonroyal, although they did not reveal the cause.
The couple wrote: “He has been at the heart of our family for the past nine years and we will miss him so much.”
