UPDATED
A motorcyclist has died after a crash on the M3 motorway.
South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed they attended a serious crash near Lightwater at about 6.15am this morning.
A spokesman said: "Sadly one person, a motorcyclist, was pronounced dead at the scene."
Traffic was at a standstill as two lanes were closed on the M3 motorway northbound.

Several vehicles were involved in the crash just after the junction 3 slip road near Bracknell.
Junction 2 of the M3 was also closed causing severe delays.
The road was fully re-opened several hours later.
Surrey Police said: "We would like to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation whilst officers dealt with the incident and the vehicles were recovered.
"The investigation is ongoing.
