MORE THAN £1,500 have been donated to Wokingham's foodbank recently, donated by a housebuilding company.

Wokingham Foodbank was given the funds by David Wilson Homes, a house-building company working in the Wokingham area.

They donated a total of £2,000 to the organisation, in the hopes of supporting families in need this Christmas. The donation is also to be matched by parent company Barratt Developments.
