THE Wokingham Borough Council has revealed information on the next step in resurfacing the borough's roads, after £500,000 worth of repairs has just been completed.
Progress so far has been part of the Wokingham Borough Council's (WBC) £8million investment into repairing the borough's roads throughout 2020 into 2021.

Road completed this august include key roads such as Longwater Road, Finchampstead, Davis Street, Hurst, and Crockhamwell Road and Headley Road in Woodley.
Cllr Pauline Jorgensen, executive member for highways and transport, “Keeping road surfaces up to scratch is important for our residents, especially in the winter months when it can be icy.
“We continue to invest in our road network on routes which are most used to ensure the work benefits as many residents as possible.
"More than 100 roads have been improved since April, with more to come in the New Year, so keep your eyes peeled for where we’ll be working.”

Road works have been planned to take place in January on Rushey Way, Earley, Nine Mile Ride, Finchampstead, and Basingstoke Road, Swallowfield.
Once these works have been complete at the end of January, the WBC will announce the next roads to resurface in its third phase.
