A kind-hearted school boy has donated half of his Christmas money to help NHS heroes.
Andrew, aged nine-years-old, wanted to donate his money after realising the struggle they have faced battling the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said: "The pandemic has made me realise how hard the NHS work to save people's lives.
"And I miss seeing my friends properly, not virtually and I also miss not being able to play with them."
The schoolboy from Crown Wood, Bracknell donated £50, half of his Christmas money after realising NHS staff "need it more".

This isn't the only selfless act Andrew has done.
On his sixth birthday he donated all of his money to Plan UK, a charity that advances children's rights and equality for girls.
And if this wasn't enough, t the age of four Andrew decided to sponsor a child from Uganda.
He said: "I like helping others and being so charitable because I want people to have the same advantages as me."
His mum Sarah-Jane said: "I feel incredibly proud of my son; despite being an only child, he has always been good at sharing and thinking of others."
