He said: "I am just overwhelmed. It's phenomenal how the community has been and how much this has gathered pace.
"Over 2,000 people have contributed now and it's just had a huge impact. There's people I don't know who have donated and I just want to share that beautiful gratitude"
16-year-old Ethan started suffering from slurred speech and minor headaches when he was at school on Wednesday, October 2 2019.
He was diagnosed with a brain tumour and underwent Craniotomy surgery, radiotherapy and then a further nine months of chemotherapy which finished in October 2020.
But a side effect of the surgery meant Ethan developed epilepsy in December.

In November 2020, his seizures were becoming daily and a follow up scan revealed a a recurrence of the tumour.
Despite this, Ethan is "determined to beat it" and sees this as a challenge which he will overcome.
Justin said: "Your own child is your love and you want to wrap them up in cotton wool, that's why we want to get the best for Ethan. You read about stories like this and sympathise with people who are living it, but how do you explain to your own child that you're in this situation.
"It humbles me to think he's young through this and yet so courageous and has the strength to get through this. He just wants to get better and that's what we are trying to do for him.
Ethan's parents are determined to raise £150,000 which will allow Ethan to get the brain tumour treatment abroad in Cologne, which offers DCVax treatment.
But thanks has to be given to the wider community who has supported the family during this time.
Sandhurst Football Club, who Ethan plays for, hopes to hold a fundraising challenge next month which will see teams of all age groups run and walk the distance it takes to Germany.
As well as this, Ethan's dad hopes to complete a fundraising challenge of his own by running 100k in the space of 24 hours.
