'Frustrated' residents in Bracknell have been without hot water from their showerheads since September - and say they are having to take baths instead.
Amongst them is a pregnant woman who struggles to get in and out of the bath, as well as families with babies.
One of the residents living in Iveagh Court, Bracknell, has started a petition to draw Silva Homes' attention to fix the issue.
Sasha Anthony said: "It just needs to be sorted it’s not a way to live.
We are able to have a hot bath it’s just the shower but I moved in the start of September and we haven’t had the shower work ever since.
"I know and I know of people who are struggling to have a bath due to their situation and leave it days before they have to. It’s using a lot more hot water then necessary because the bath takes so long to fill up due to the water pressure, it’s the same for the sink in the kitchen, this costs us more money overall and with times being hard already this adds on top of it with all-out other bills too."
The residential block in Nightingale Crescent recently underwent a refurbishment which has "improved the building", claims Silva Homes.
However, as of Thursday, February 4, 76 people have already signed a petition to say they need them to fix the water pressure as there is no hot water.
Sasha told the News: "One of our neighbours is pregnant and struggles to get in and out of the bath each time due to them being also rather small, she is also putting of taking a bath until she has to cause it’s that hard for her.
"They came to look late October and said we already know about this issue and said there is nothing we can do about this and I am the same for everyone, also they said we can’t do nothing at the moment because not enough people have complained about it.
"So basically they're saying they need more people to complain about it for them to start taking notice..."
The petition has led to dozens of comments already from residents urging Silva Homes to resolve the issue.
One resident who signed the petition said: "I think it’s appalling that you’ve supplied us with showerheads that can only pump out cold water"
Another comment said: "Please silva homes do what your supposed to do and sort this out for these people, everyone needs hot water." Whilst another resident said: "This needs sorting out babies live in these flats!"
Laura Johnson, Executive Director of Assets and Growth explained they are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
She said: "The refurbishment of Iveagh Court has been a complex project. The work carried out has improved the building, but we know there are issues with the hot water and the water pressure.
"We have identified a problem with the hot water cylinders and some persistent leaks. We are contacting all our Iveagh Court customers to inform them that a plumber will be visiting their homes to check their hot water cylinders.
"We are confident this will help to fix the issues our customers are having with their hot water.
"The water pressure is a trickier issue to solve. To make a real difference, we need to replace the hot water cylinder in every home with a new system. This will be part of a future programme of work at Iveagh Court."
