Hairdressing salons have been inundated with bookings since the latest lockdown roadmap was announced.
People in desperate need of a hair cut have already booked appointments from April 12, the day earmarked for beauty services to reopen.
On Monday, February 22, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that non-essential retail, gyms, outdoor hospitality and hairdressers could reopen on 12 April in his latest roadmap.
Salons across Berkshire were quick to receive phone calls from people in desperate need of their manes sorting out.
Katie Bourne, owner of Matrix salon in Bracknell said: "My phone has been going mad!"
I really couldn't even count them. I've been booking clients in the last two days and I'm still going strong now, i'm a team or 7 staff so it's a lot of clients.
All of the seven Matrix hairdressers have been taking calls for bookings after April 12 since announcement was made just three days ago.
Ms Bourne said: "We as a salon were very covid safe and will continue to follow strict guidelines to continue to keep my staff and our clients safe.
"We can not wait to welcome our wonderful clients back and trust me having your hair done is the biggest pick me up it's why I love doing what we do to make people feel good and look fabulous.
"Think we all need a little tlc in April and moving forward, all working together to keep safe hopefully have a great summer and and end the year on a high with covid levels staying low."
Mobile hairdressers have also seen their clients rushing to get booked in for that post-lockdown pamper.
Maidenhead based hair-dresser Emma Holloway said she is already three months fully booked with appointments.

Emma said: "I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. The thought of going from doing absolutely nothing bt walking and watching Netflix to doing my 9-5 in the week then non stop hair in the evenings and on weekends, it's going to hit me pretty hard!
"I'm excited to see all my clients again. Haircuts aren't so bad but colour appointments I can only do on the weekends so I am like 2/3 months booked already."
