The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Court

December 11:

ADRIAN STOICA, 51, of Oakengates, Bracknell, admitted speeding on London Road, Sunningdale, on December 23, 2019. Found to be driving at 41mph in a 30mph speed restricted area. Fined £200. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Three points added to drivers licence.

TYROE SMITH-LAYNE, 26, of Roughgrove Copse, Binfield, admitted possession of cannabis in Bracknell on May 2. Fined £800. Also ordered to pay £80 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. 

RUARI LOHAN, 19, of Finchampstead Road, Wokingham, convicted of avoiding payment of a train ticket worth £3.90 at Reading Railway Station on February 18. Fined £440. Also ordered to pay £3.90 compensation, £44 victim surcharge and £160 court costs.

NICKY STEVENS, 45, of St Andrews, Bracknell, admitted stealing cosmetics worth £704 from Boots in Bracknell on May 12, and admitted stealing three pairs of sunglasses worth £820 from Boots in Bracknell on May 8. Convicted of commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order, namely stealing two Boss Orange perfume gift sets worth £68 from Boots in Bracknell on December 22, 2019. Also admitted theft by finding, namely stealing two jumpers worth £122.90 in Bracknell on May 29, and admitted theft by finding, namely stealing DIY Paintings worth £35.98 in Bracknell on May 29. Given a community order including drug rehabilitation requirement. Must pay £95 victim surcharge.
