FRESH plans to transform the upper floor of the town's former Peacocks clothes store have been unveiled.
The shop, which was based on Bracknell High Street in The Lexicon, shut down in 2019.
Plans to turn the bottom half of the store in a British Heart Foundation and the top half into new flats were given the go-ahead in February 2020 and July 2020 respectively.
But now the developer of the four new flats planned for the first floor has come back to the council with fresh proposals.

Instead, applicant Mi Flats Bracknell has asked for permission to create five flats at the town centre space.
Of these five flats, four would be one-bedroom and one would be two-bedroom.
The volume of the first floor would not change, and a small space would be retained for storage.
A statement from the applicant read: “The site is in an appropriate location for residential use given its location within the town centre and proximity to Bracknell train station.”
