THE annual property rich list, revealing the most expensive streets across the UK, has revealed a street in Wokingham among the priciest in Berkshire.

The top ten, published by Zoopla, includes five roads in the Reading area, as well as one in Wokingham.

They are all millionaire's rows, with property prices well in excess of £1 million.

Ranked as the second most expensive street in Berkshire, Ferry Lane in Wargrave, Reading RG10 has an average house price of £2,280,024.

The quintessential street on the outskirts of town features a number of gorgeous homes.

It is followed in fifth spot by Bridle Way in Goring, Reading, where prices average at £2,132,487 in the hidden off beaten track.

The other street in the borough to make the ninth spot is the rural Collins End in Goring Heath, Reading. The sparsely populated country road features a handful of large houses surrounded by unspoiled countryside, and has an average house price of £1,978,261.

The most expensive street in Berkshire is Fulmer Rise in Slough, an particularly affluent area where prices are a whopping £6,010,289.

In third place came Middle Green in Slough, where houses cost on average £2,231,396, and then Stoke Park Avenue in Slough where houses cost £2,212,716.

In tenth place came Lower Sandhurst Road in Wokingham were house prices will set you back an average of £1,943,619.

Zoopla's Rich List also revealed the most expensive postcode areas and the towns and villages with the highest average house prices.

On the postcode list, RG8 for Reading came first with an average price of £756,599. RG10 in Reading came second and behind this was Slough SL0.

Wokingham, however, placed top in the highest value town list with an average price of £506,514, beating Reading by almost £81,368 . Crowthorne placed second with an average house price of £505,284, almost £1,230 behind its near neighbour.

Elsewhere in the district, Bracknell placed fourth with an average price of £397,395, while Sandhurst was ranked in sixth at £388,144.

Unsurprisingly, the most expensive street in the whole of the UK was in London, and even less surprisingly it was in the flashy neighbourhood of Kensington and Chelsea.

Kensington Palace Gardens, which backs onto the palace and the nearby Kensington Park, has an average property price of £32,492,346. This is more than £12 million more expensive than the second ranked street, Courtenay Avenue in Highgate, where the price is £20,254,754.

London dominates the list with every street in the Top 20 most expensive located in the capital.
