A FRESH plan to build dozens of apartments at the home of Bracknell Town Football Club has been unveiled.
Developers want to build 126 new homes at Larges Lane, the current base of the Robins.
The new homes would go up after the existing dwelling and sports buildings at the site are knocked down.
Few other details are given in the new planning application, which was submitted after a similar proposal was withdrawn last year.

In the original plan, Bracknell Town FC bosses had hoped to build 164 homes at Larges Lane.
But these designs were shelved after Bracknell Forest Council hinted it would refuse the redevelopment plans.
BFC planners claimed they would not go ahead with this proposal because of the loss of a playing field, concerns about the impact on neighbours and transport issues from the redevelopment of the site, and more.
They suggested any changes to the designs would have to come through a new application, which led to BTFC withdrawing the original application in September 2020.

The original plan coincided with a vision to set up three new bases for the Robins across Bracknell Forest, but it is not clear from the new application if this is still the long-term goal for the Club.
