A MAN is set to face a trial before the courts over allegations of sexual assaults involving a child under the age of 13.
John Searle, of Warren Row in Ascot, is expected to face a six-day trial starting November 15 after the case was heard at Reading Crown Court yesterday.

The 47-year-old did not attend the pre-trial hearing, and is yet to enter a plea in relation to the charges.
His defence, Mr Wayne Cranston-Morris, did attend the hearing, however.

Judge Paul Dugdale requested Mr Searle next appears in court for a hearing on July 16.
This would be ahead the planned trial for November 15, where the accused will face the charge of sexual assault of a child under 13.
