A TEENAGER has been attacked and punched in the face by a thief.
Thames Valley Police said the 18-year-old woman was walking through Crown Wood, Bracknell, when it happened on April 13.
Officers said the victim was walking towards the shops in Opladen Way at 12.20pm.
A man approached her from behind and tried to grab her bag. There was a struggle as the victim tried to keep hold and the attacker punched her in the face. He fled with the bag - a pink Michael Kors clutch bag.
The victim was left with a bruised cheek.
Police said the offender is described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins, wearing a baggy black tracksuit and Nike Air Force trainers.
Investigating officer PC Laura McCaughey, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim, a young woman, who was punched to her face by a man. I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the robbery, or who has any information, which may assist the investigation.”
