The race will start and end at Cantley park, Wokingham, and the route will be fully closed off to traffic.
Alongside the main run, the Wokingham Mini Mile will also be available for whole families to take part in, offering t shirts and medals for participants.
The Wokingham Borough Council has confirmed that covid-19 safety measures will be observed and ensured, and a 100 per cent refund guarantee has been offered, in case of cancellation due to coronavirus restrictions.
Graham Ebers, deputy chief executive and director of resources and assets said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be able to confirm the good news - Wokingham Half Marathon is set to return to the streets of our borough later this year.
“With the ongoing pandemic and restrictions on live events, it’s been a tough year for so many of our residents.

"I’d like to take this opportunity to invite all runners to the race, our route is equally as suitable to established runners, as it is for those looking to complete their first official half-marathon.
"I’m hoping for fantastic weather on the day and plenty of cheerful atmosphere throughout.”
