A major road between READING and WOKINGHAM will be closed overnight throughout this week.
The Reading Road closure in Winnersh runs between its junctions with Old Forest Road in Wokingham and Robinhood Lane.
This is so Wokingham Borough Council can construct an ‘enhanced junction’ of Reading Road and Longdon Road.
The closure is in effect from 8pm to 6am each night Monday, May 24, to Saturday, May 29, – with the work finishing at 6am on Saturday morning.

If you are trying to get from Wokingham to Reading, you will need to head westbound on Station Road and Barkham Road, then make a right hand turn to get onto Bearwood Road heading north.
Follow Bearwood Road all the way to the King Street Lane roundabout, using the second exit to continue your journey to Winnersh and Reading.
You can then follow the length of King Street Lane heading north to get to the junction with Reading Road and Robinhood Lane. You can then continue your journey north to Reading using the remainder of Reading Road.
If you are seeking to get to Wokingham from Reading, you will need to turn right onto King Street Lane, then take Bearwood Road heading south to get to the junction with Barkham Road. You can make a left turn onto Barkham Road to get into Wokingham.
