A PAEDOPHILE, a fraudster and a drug dealer.
These are just some of the criminals sent to prison at Reading Crown Court last week.
Here’s the full list of crooks who got sent down.
Tuesday, May 18
Andrew Dobson, of Elizabeth Avenue, Newbury, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after he was convicted of stalking and harassment.
The 30-year-old was given 52 weeks for his stalking convictions and 12 weeks concurrent for his harassment offence.
He was given an extra half-a-year in jail for breaching a suspended sentence order, handed a restraining order against the stalking victim, and told to pay a victim surcharge of £156.

Benjamin Graham, of Cordwallis Road, Maidenhead, was given six months in jail after being convicted of assault and robbery.
The 33-year-old was given six months for the robbery, with one month to be served concurrently for the assault offence.
Wednesday, May 19
Trevor Smith, formerly of Dedworth Road, Windsor, was jailed for 21 years after being found guilty of raping a boy and sexually abusing a girl.
The girl, who was first abused by 59-year-old Smith when she was around four years of age, said she had her childhood ‘taken away from her’.

The second survivor, a man who was raped and sexually assaulted by Smith from around the ages of 8 and 12, said he has suffered from effects including bed-wetting, insomnia, night terrors and stomach disorders in the years since the abuse.
Thursday, May 20
Anthony Birmingham, of Almond Drive, Thatcham, was sentenced to two years and eight months in jail for a drug offence.
The 29-year-old was convicted of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug.
The Thatcham man was told his drugs and scales must be destroyed, and that he must forfeit £150 in cash.
Mohammed Asghar, of Linden Road, Reading, was sentenced to three years behind bars after he was caught selling counterfeit service history books through eBay.

The 30-year-old made more than £70,000 selling the fake certificates over a period of 18 months.
Sentencing for fraud and the sale of unauthorised goods, Judge Wall said “there was a real degree of sophistication and planning in what you did.”
Friday, May 21
Michael Walker, of Uxbridge Road, Slough was given a prison stint lasting four years and nine months at Reading Crown Court last week.
The 59-year-old was handed jail time for defrauding and blackmailing a “vulnerable” couple out of £26,000.

He had promised them a new home and a skiing holiday but he never delivered on his promises after the couple gave him thousands of pounds.
Michael Mitchell, of Havergate Way, Reading, was given 16 months in prison after he was caught with more than 1,000 indecent images of children and animals on his computer.
The 41-year-old was told by Judge Sarah Campbell that the images downloaded were “some of the worst” she had ever seen.

The court heard how Mitchell was “pleased” to have been caught by police because he “realised it was wrong” and he “couldn’t stop”.
