Thousands of racegoers turned up for the opening day of Royal Ascot as crowds are welcomed to the stands for the first time since the pandemic began.
Punters dressed in outlandish hats, summer dresses and smart suits cheering on the jockeys at Ascot Racecourse.
The Queen is also set to attend this week with her racing manager John Warren confirming a few of her horses will be running.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall also gave racegoers something to cheer to yesterday when they joined them in the stands.
The event takes place for five days ending on Saturday, June 20.
