An upgrade to Bracknell Healthspace and a huge development in Sandhurst are among the biggest plans submitted this week.
The second floor of Bracknell Healthspace at Brants Bridge is set to be transformed into a coronavirus testing laboratory.
In Sandhurst, a huge 150 home plan on equestrian land has surfaced. A similar plan for 159 homes on the same site was rejected in 2019.

Meanwhile, in Wokingham, upgrades to the Grade II listed The Rose pub continue.

New covid lab at Bracknell Healthspace in Brants Bridge (21/00356/FUL)
An application has been submitted to convert the vacant second floor of the Bracknell Healthspace into a coronavirus testing laboratory.
The plan involves building a new temporary lift on the outside of the building, the erection of three temporary portacabins in the existing car park for staff welfare facilities, and an new electrical plant on the ground and roof levels of the current building.
Plan for 150 new homes in Sandhurst (21/00478/OUT)
Here, the developers have applied for outline planning consent to build 150 homes on land off Wokingham Road in Sandhurst.
The new development would be complemented with a Suitable Area of Natural Greenspace (SANG).

The homes would be built on fields used for exercising horses to the south west of Sandhurst.
A plan to build 159 homes on the site was rejected by Bracknell Forest Council’s planning committee in September 2019.
Construction of new house in Sandhurst (21/00498/FUL)
Here, the applicants have applied to build one new house in a ‘back land’ development to the rear of 78 College Road, Sandhurst.
The house would be semi detached, ultimately providing two three-bedroom homes, each with a living room, kitchen room dining area, with one ensuite room.
The land the house is on used to be a residential garden but has been long since vacant according to the plans.
Works on listed pub in Wokingham (Wokingham app 211967)
The new owners of The Rose pub in Wokingham have submitted details of their plans for upgrades to the external area of the pub.
A planning document shows the paving that will be used in the outdoors area.

The details relate to the approval of the owners plan to build a pergola at the rear of the pub, which was granted by Wokingham’s planning department on Monday, June 7 (Wokingham app 210168).
The pub used to serve as the town’s Cafe Rouge, but the chain French restaurant closed in the town in 2018.
Pool house and upgrades to home in Shinfield (Wokingham app 211960)
The owners of Foxglade in Brookers Hill, Shinfield have applied to build a pool house at their home.
The new pool house would include toilets and a changing room for those taking a dip.
They have also applied to build a new one metre high border fence and a new access gate and driveway.
