A SCHOOLS football tournament has been organised by a community police officer in a bid to build up relationships between youngsters and the force.
PCSO Iain Gregory has set up the tournament, which will pit Year Nine students from five local schools against male and female police officers.
Selected players from each school will be randomly placed in teams and play alongside local officers.

The schools participating include Ranelagh, Garth Hill College, Brakenhale, Easthampstead Park and College Hall.
It has been organised in partnership with Bracknell Town FC and is set to take place at their Larges Lane ground on July 2.

Speaking to the News, PCSO Iain Gregory said: “This will be an excellent opportunity for positive police interaction added to a pilot project I am currently running at Brakenhale this term, where I have organised a number of interactive activities with pupils.”
