A BRACKNELL man won’t go to jail despite being caught with a knife in a public place.

Daniel Christian, of Ogden Park, Bracknell was found with the blade in Slough on December 12, 2020.

Despite being given a 15-week prison term, his sentence was suspended for 12 months.

Instead, he was told to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and court costs of £85.

The 42-year-old was told his knife would be destroyed, too.

Christian appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 1.
