There’s good news for sushi lovers in Bracknell as a new takeaway is set to open in the town centre later this year.
Kokoro will be coming to The Lexicon in Bracknell for an estimated opening date in September.
The Korean Japanese brand serves sushi and bento dishes, which are single-portion take-out or home-packed meals. It also serves katsu curry, yakisoba, teriyaki and soup dishes to hungry diners. You can see some of the delicious menu items in the gallery above.
A spokeswoman for the company said work on the site will start in July ready for its aimed for September opening date.

Kokoro will be located in Unit 3 of The Avenue at The Lexicon shopping centre in Bracknell.
It will primarily serve as a takeaway, but plans do show three tables with two seats each and three window facing stool seats, making a total of nine seats for people who want to sit down with their meal. Kokoro uses Deliveroo for deliveries.
Each takeaway typically employs 15-20 people, giving employment opportunities for job seekers in the area.
The company has had to apply to Bracknell Forest Council for advertising consent and the internal plans for the unit it will be located in, which include the refrigerated area for the cold dishes, a cooking area for the hot dishes, and a staff toilet. There are no plans for a customer toilet.
Kokoro will be replacing the Revital health food shop, which has been permanently closed.
The brand currently has 37 branches, with the nearest ones for sushi lovers in Bracknell being located in either Camberley, Reading or Maidenhead, which all take roughly 20 minutes to get to by car. It also has a branch in Windsor.
