A WOMAN is left feeling 'disgusted' at the state of the pathways after the grass was finally cut.
The Sandhurst resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, contacted the News to express her concerns over the state of the grass.
In recent months, Bracknell Forest Council has left grass verges to grow wild in a bid to help the environment and improve habitats for wildlife.
The mowing of grass around the borough was delayed last month to allow wildflowers to grow. Last week the grass was finally cut but one resident isn't happy.
She said: "Absolutely disgusting the way the council have left the state of our roads and paths after what they say is cutting the grass!

"Couldn’t even be bothered to cut around the lamp posts or attempt to clear up."
Her pictures show grass cuttings along the pathway and long grass around a lamppost making the road look 'messy'.
Adding: "They were sat on lawn mowers and didn’t get off! "Disappointed and disgusted that we pay our council tax and they think this is acceptable!"
Despite this, the council said 'tidying up is still in progress' in Sandhurst.
A spokesman from Bracknell Forest Council said: "The grass cutting in Sandhurst is ongoing. The main mowing has been completed.
"The strimming and tidying up is still in progress, which includes clearing the paths and cutting the grass around obstacles such as lamp posts. This work will be completed in the coming days.
