The government have released an update on the number of confirmed cases of the Delta variant of Covid-19 first discovered in India in our area.
Surge testing in Bracknell Forest has now ended after a number of cases were detected in the borough last month.
Those living and working in the GU47 0 area and students in Year 7 were urged to get tested to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Across the country, 50,824 confirmed cases of the Delta variant have now been recorded.
This marks a 46 per cent increase over the previous week, according to health officials.
The Delta variant continues to account for 95% of all coronavirus cases, PHE added.

Bracknell's confirmed cases have increased from 174 last month to 344, an increase of 170 cases.
