POLICE are carrying out an investigation after a large amount of drugs was seized in a woodland in Ascot.

On the morning of Tuesday, July 6, Thames Valley Police found a quantity of drugs in the wooded area of The Rough in Ascot, Bracknell Forest.

The area is located behind New Road in Ascot and between Forest Road.

Thames Valley Police said: "We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen something or anyone who may have information that could help us to please get in touch.
