A FORMATION of Puma helicopters is set to mark the 50th anniversary of the Royal Air Force service with a national flypast.
A total of 10 impressive-looking aircrafts have already taken off from RAF Benson for a national flypast today (July 7).
After RAF Benson, it will head over RAF Halton and then RAF High Wycombe, before heading to RAF Northolt at roughly 10.35am.
It will then make its way up to RAF Scampton for around 11.55am.
After that, there will be two more legs of their journey taking in different areas around the country throughout the day.

The RAF helicopters won't be visible in Sandhurst until 6pm tonight as they fly from Middle Wallop at 4.55pm, past the Joint Helicopters Command HQ in Andover before reaching RAF Odiham.
Then they will fly over Bracknell and Sandhurst making their way to Farnborough before returning back to RAF Benson at 6.30pm.
The special national flypast will mark 50 years of the Puma.
The first Puma helicopters were delivered into service in 1971.
RAF Benson said: "A formation of up to 10 Puma helicopters will depart RAF Benson tomorrow morning as part of a training sortie that will include flypasts of notable locations for the Puma Force over the past 50 years.
"This includes sites that hold historical significance for the Puma Force as well as those that provide support to delivering current Puma operational capability.
