Our area has a number of long running roadworks that seem to be stretching on for months on end.
The longest-running roadworks being undertaken in Bracknell are the Leisure Centre Roundabout widening project, which is set to last 14 weeks.
Meanwhile, the longest road closure in Wokingham is the closure of Waterloo Road, which will remain closed until March next year.
There are also long closures near the Hogwood Industrial Estate in Arborfield and in Toutley Road in Wokingham.

Bracknell Leisure Centre Roundabout works for four months
In Bracknell, drivers face long delays as works are being conducted on the A322 Bagshot Road at the Bracknell Leisure Centre Roundabout.
The work is being undertaken to provide an additional lane at the junction in the hope of speeding up traffic at the Leisure Centre roundabout in the future.
Lanes in the northbound and southbound carriageways of the A322 Bagshot Road have been closed so that contractors can undertake the work.
Drivers can use the B3430 Nine Mile Ride, the A3095 Crowthorne Road and Mill Lane to avoid heavy traffic.
Work on the roundabout started on Monday, July 5, and will last for around four months, ending on Monday, October 25.
Year long closure of Waterloo Road in Wokingham
Waterloo Road in Wokingham has been closed since Monday, March 8.
The closure is part of the South Wokingham Distributor Road, which once completed will see a new road being built in a west to east direction south of the railway for the first time.
Waterloo Road has been closed as part of the Eastern Gateway element of the road project, which involves building a road bridge over the Reading to Waterloo railway and a new roundabout.

The road is closed between its junctions with Priest Avenue and the Old Wokingham Road.
Drivers must use the Old Wokingham Road and Easthampstead Road to get to their destinations and the remaining stretched of Waterloo Road.
Waterloo Road will remain closed until Thursday, March 31, 2022
Toutley Road in Wokingham closed for eight months
Toutley Road in Wokingham has been closed since Thursday, April 8, and will remain closed for eight months. It is closed between its junctions with Queens Road and Old Forest Road.
It has meant drivers need to follow a diversion utilising Old Forest Road, Reading Road, Wiltshire Road, Milton Road and Queens Road to get around the closure.
Toutley Road is set to reopen on Sunday, December 19.

Extension works for Nine Mile Ride lasting until Halloween
The work is being undertaken to link Nine Mile Ride with the A327 Reading Road.
It forms part of the Arborfield Garrison Major Development. The road will play its part by linking new housing developments to exisiting roads and speeding up journeys by getting the new occupants towards Reading and Bracknell.
Work begun on Thursday, June 10, and will last for around five months until Halloween on Sunday, October 31.
Drivers must use a signed diversion to get to Hogwood Industrial Estate, utilising Nine Mile Ride, the B3106 Finchampstead Road the B3348 Jubilee Road, the A327 Reading Road, Biggs Lane and Park Lane, which will eventually get you to the Hogwood Industrial Estate.
The Ridges in Crowthorne closed for around 10 months
The Ridges at the end of Wellingtonia Avenue in Crowthorne has been closed since Thursdsay, March 11 between its junctions with the B3348 Jubilee Road and Dell Road.
It will remain closed until New Years Eve on Friday, December 31.
Drivers are being sent on a diverison using the B3348 Wellingtonia Avenue, the A321 Lower Wokingham Road, the B3430 Nine Mile Ride, and the B3016 Finchampstead Road.
