A BRACKNELL man has been sent to prison after biting a police officer.
Alexander Bennett, of The Oaks, bit ‘PC Plunkett’ in Bracknell on May 27, 2021.

He admitted to assault by beating of an emergency worker at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 28.
He also pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman in Bracknell on the same day in May.

The 33-year-old was sent to prison for 18 weeks due to the severity of the office.
He was also told to pay the woman he assaulted £100 in compensation, and to pay a £128 victim surcharge.
