A PUBLIC pool has finally opened to the public in time for the heatwave and face coverings must be worn.
Woodford Park Leisure Centre in Woodley, Wokingham, opened its doors so families can take a dip to cool down.
The site will be open from 11am to 6pm and there is no need to book in advance.

Woodley Town Council said visitor numbers will not be managed but people are encouraged to wear a face mask when entering the facility.
A tweet from the council said: "We are mindful that Covid-19 cases are high and rising, and to remain cautious we ask users of our facilities to continue to wear a face covering in communal areas, respect social distancing measures and sanitise their hands to protect themselves, others and staff."

However, as of Monday, July 19, face coverings and social distancing has been made optional as part of the easing of lockdown restrictions in England.
But ministers and health experts have encouraged people to wear face masks in crowded spaces.
Public pools and splash pads are expected to get busy this week as the temperatures continue to rise.
