The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Courts:
MAY 25
CALLUM MCLOUGHLIN, 22, of Cherry Tree Grove, Wokingham, admitted £269.61 worth of damage to a glass door belonging to Reading Borough Council in Reading on February 14. He was fined £40, told to pay £269.61 compensation, and must pay a £34 victim surcharge.
JAMES ASHLEY, 21, of Clare Avenue, Wokingham, admitted drink driving on Abbey Square in Reading on April 30, 2021. He was caught with 63 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. He was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £392, made to pay a victim surcharge of £39, and £85 court costs.
MAY 26
ROBERT HOUSEMAN, 42, of Ullswater, Bracknell, convicted of using threatening behaviour to cause harassment or distress in Bracknell on August 6, 2020. He was told to take part in rehabilitation activity, and must pay a £95 victim surcharge and £300 court costs.
MAY 27
EMMA-VICTORIA MCGOWEN, 33, of Aysgarth, Bracknell, admitted to drink driving on The Waverly, Bracknell, on May 2, 2021. She was caught with 86 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. She was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £437, told to pay a £44 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs.
MITCHEL BYRNE, 23, of Braybrooke Road, Bracknell, admitted to drink driving on Stonet Road in Bracknell on April 4, 2021. He was caught with 94 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. He also admitted to taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. He was banned from driving for 23 months, told to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work, ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge, and told to pay £85 in court costs.
