A SANDHURST man has been cleared of raping a woman more than four years ago.
Kyle Beeney, of Constable Way, College Town, Sandhurst, stood in the dock at Reading Crown Court for a trial into allegations he raped and sexually assaulted a woman in February 2017.

The 31-year-old pleaded not guilty to the charges in October 2020, triggering a trial that started on Monday, August 9.
Beeney’s trial closed on Monday, August 16 after a jury returned a not guilty verdict to one charge of rape and one charge of sexual assault.

The trial took place at Reading Crown Court.
