A STABBING in Bracknell took place early this morning, police officers confirmed today.
At around 1.30am this morning, August 21, Thames Valley Police officers were informed that a man, aged in his fifties, was stabbed outside of on the Market Inn pub, Station Road, Bracknell.

He has since been taken to hospital where he currently remains in a stable condition.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "Officers attended Station Road in Bracknell at approximately 1.35am today (August 21) after a report of a man aged in his fifties sustaining a stab wound.
"The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition which is not believed to be life threatening.

"A 27-year-old man from Farnborough in Hampshire was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 GBH, and is currently in police custody.
"Any witnesses, or anyone with information would be asked to contact Thames Valley Police either by reporting online or calling 101, quoting reference number 203 of 21/8."
South Central Ambulance Services have also been contacted for further information.
