A MAN charged in connection with a stabbing outside a popular pub in the town centre has made his first court appearance.
Harry Goodwin, of Birchett Road, Farnborough, was charged with grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon following an incident in which a man in his fifties was stabbed outside the Market Inn on Saturday, August 21.

The 27-year-old appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court via live video link from custody on Monday, August 23.
He did not enter pleas to either of the two charges lodged against him.

District Judge Sam Goozee adjourned the case to Reading Crown Court, where Goodwin will appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing on Monday, September 20.
He has been remanded in custody until then.
Following the incident, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "Officers attended Station Road in Bracknell at approximately 1.35am today (August 21) after a report of a man aged in his fifties sustaining a stab wound."
