HUNDREDS of people are expected to turn up to taste different ales and ciders at this years Bracknell Ale and Cider festival on Sunday.

Cancelled last year due to the pandemic, this year's festival at Bracknell Rugby Club is expected to be even better with a new craft beer bar hoping to pull in more visitors.

This year the team said they are committed to supporting local breweries offering much of the beer and cider from across Berkshire and the surrounding area.

Keeping up with modern times the event will also be promoting contactless payments, so purchases made at food vendors and for drinks tokens will all be accepting card payments.

Tom Canning, the festivals sponsorship co-ordinator, said: “It’s been an incredible build up to the event on the sponsorship side of things. I expected a really tough time, which of course I understand, but the

area's businesses have shown some severe resilience and faith in our event to come forward and support us.

“It is certainly the biggest show of support we’ve had in all the time I’ve been doing this!”
