AN INCIDENT outside a shop in Wokingham is now being investigated as a sexual assault case.
Last week the News reported an incident at Ashridge Road shops in Wokingham which occurred on the afternoon of Thursday, August 26.

Following the incident, police did not reveal information about what happened outside the shop.
The only details given were that it involved two teenage girls and an older male.
But now more information has been released.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "This was a report of a sexual assault. It was reported that a man touched two girls inappropriately over their clothing.
A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and has been released on bail."
