New three bedroom home to be ‘attached’ to existing house in Bracknell (21/00792/FUL)
The owner of 37 Stoney Road, Bracknell has applied to build a three bedroom home that will be connected to their existing house.
The new homes would be attached to the current home on the first floor level, with a clear passageway underneath at ground level to give access to both homes.
The new home would effectively be an additional terrace house to the existing terrace of four homes in Stoney Road.
37 Stoney Road, the first image in the gallery above. is currently a two bedroom home with a combined kitchen and dining room and a living room.
The additional home would have three levels, with two bedrooms on the first floor and one ensuite bedroom on the second level.
Two homes to replace current house in Bracknell (21/00808/FUL)
This is an application to demolish a cottage and replace it with two new homes in Priory Lane in the urban part of Warfield in north Bracknell.
One of the homes would have four bedrooms and one would be three-bedroomed.
In the four bedroom home, two of the bedrooms would be on the first floor, and two would be in the loft, and in the smaller house all three bedrooms would be on the first floor.
The larger house would have two car parking spaces, with the smaller house having one space on the drive and a car space in a garage.
A Google Map image of the existing three bedroom house, number 8A Derryquin Cottage, appears to show it in a vacant condition, with no cars parked outside and an overgrown driveway.
The developers obtained permission to demolish it and replace it with two homes in May 2020 (19/00594/FUL), but these new plans supersede those which have been approved.

Replacement tennis court for grand home in Wargrave (Wokingham app 213060)
The owners of Fox Steep in the Holly Cross hamlet in Wargrave have applied to build a replacement tennis court after their original tennis court was removed because of their need to remove Badger Setts within the the former tennis court grounds.
An aerial photo from Google Maps shows the removed tennis court in the grounds of the house.
Now they want to build a new tennis court right in front of the outdoor pool which can be seen in the aerial photo.
Planning documents submitted with the application state that the badgers have been safely relocated.
Because Fox Steep is Grade II listed, the owners have had to provide a heritage statement as part of their application, to demonstrate what impact the plan may have on the character of the home.
Danks Badnell Architects Ltd have said that the new tennis court will have no impact upon any heritage assets.
