Eight men have been charged and subsequently remanded by the court today on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A and B drug offences after 11 properties were raided simultaneously.

A large-scale operation was carried out across the Ascot, Egham and Virginia Water areas yesterday, during which a substantial amount of class A, B and C drugs and cash were seized, as well as high value goods, vehicles and air weapons.

Those charged and remanded are as follows:

  • Maximillian Jones, aged 25, of Truss Hill Rd, Sunninghill.
  • Bailey Martin, aged 18, of Rise Rd, Sunningdale.
  • Giancarlot Barot, aged 39, of Cavendish Meads, Ascot.
  • Michael Connolly, aged 24, of Cavendish Meads, Ascot.
  • George Saunders, aged 28, of King Edwards Rd, Ascot.
  • Joshua Parker, aged 26, of Woodmill Court, Ascot.
  • Matthew Wignall, aged 22, of St Georges Lane, Ascot.
  • Joseph Hall, aged 26, of Heath Park Drive, Windlesham, Surrey.

Leo Ashmore, aged 18, of Rusham Park Avenue, Egham and a 16 year old from Ascot have also been charged and released on bail for drug offences and will appear before Slough Magistrates’ Court on 19 October.

Three further people, a 25-year-old man from Ascot, a 22-year-old woman from Virginia Water and a  23-year-old woman from Sunninghill have also all been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A and B Drugs and have been released on conditional police bail.

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Alexandra Horne, said: “This is an incredible example of a successful, collaborative effort undertaken by multiple teams from Thames Valley Police.  The investigation is ongoing and being managed by Windsor and Maidenhead Priority Crime Team. 

“Thames Valley Police is committed to the identification, disruption and prosecution of Organised Crime Groups who are causing serious harm to the public.  We are determined to identify and seize all assets purchased with the proceeds of this enterprise so that these individuals no longer continue profiting from these illicit activities”.
