While this resurfacing work is carried out, the council have said they are also taking the opportunity to resurface the remainder of the roundabout to provide a defect-free surface to last for some years, reducing future disruption.

Bracknell News:

The widening on Nightingale Way/Harmans Water Road will be surfaced at a later date when all the works have been completed.

In order to lay the new surfacing, the sports centre roundabout, including both directions of Bagshot Road, will be closed off overnight from Monday, 11 October to Friday, 15 October between 8.30pm and 6am, and then overnight on Monday, 18 October and Tuesday, 19 October between 8.30pm and 6am.

A spokesman for the Bracknell Forest Council said: "We appreciate the resurfacing work will be an inconvenience to residents and create overnight noise.

"We apologise for any disturbance caused by this essential work. All steps will be taken to keep noise to a minimum, although some heavy machinery is involved in the process."

During the closures, there will be a signed diversion route for A322 traffic between the Coral Reef junction and the Twin Bridges junction along the newly upgraded A3095 in both directions.
