Conversion of office into wheelchair accessible bungalow (21/00894/PAE)
Silva Homes, a housing association based in Bracknell, has applied to convert an unused office in Boyd Court, Downshire Way into a wheelchair accessible bungalow.
The office would be converted to create a two bedroom home for a disabled person, fit with a open plan kitchen, living room and dining room and an accessible wetroom.
Bedroom one contains one bed, and bedroom two would provide two single beds.
The intention is to make the new home suitable for a disabled person or wheelchair user to live there independently or with the assistance of a carer.
Silva Homes has submitted the application to determine whether the conversion requires prior approval from the council’s planning department.
If it does not, the conversion will be considered permitted development and work can begin.
Silva Homes has been criticised recently for its proposals to replace 'sound roof coverings'.
Plan to add two mobile homes to Warfield trailer park (21/00846/FUL)
The owners of Warfield Park mobile home park have applied to situate two new mobile homes in the park.
The plan for two new mobile homes is located on The Elms road in the park.
These new homes would come with garages for the new occupants.

The owners had applied to build three mobile homes on the same site in 2019, but the application was rejected and an appeal dismissed.
This application was refused because planners deemed the development inappropriate, having an adverse effect on the rural character of the area and local wildlife.
Application for extension to listed house in Sindlesham (Wokingham app 213138)
The owners of number 2 Upper Terrace in Bearwood Road, Sindlesham have applied to replace their conservatory with a new extension.
Work would involve knocking down the conservatory, which appears to be used to create a part single storey and part two storey extension.
This would provide an additional bedroom and ensuite shower on the first floor, and a more open plan living and dining area on the ground floor. You can see floorplans for the proposed extension in the gallery above.
Because Upper Terrace is Grade II listed, a planning and heritage statement has been provided with the application to explain the nature of the works and access the project’s impact on the historic home.
According to Historic England, the terraced homes date back to the 1740s.
Adaptations to 25 home plan in Charvil (Wokingham app 213160)
Landowners in Charvil have applied to make adjustments to one of the homes within a 25 home development in Charvil.
The changes relate to plot 10, or the 10th house in the 25 home development.
The landowners have applied to move the garage at house 10 to become attached to the house, relocate the house itself and adjust its boundary.
