Coronavirus cases are rising as every area of Berkshire has recorded over 100 cases in a 24 hour period recently.
The highest number of new confirmed cases have been recorded in West Berkshire, where 170 fresh cases were reported on Wednesday, October 27.
West Berkshire is experiencing its highest ever infection rates since the pandemic began in March last year.
Wokingham Borough has also recorded its highest ever level of infection rates as October Half Term draws to an end.

And more than 100 new cases have been reported in every other area of Berkshire on Wednesday, October 27.
A total of 771 cases were recorded in Berkshire on that day.
It was also the first time over 100 cases were recorded in Bracknell Forest since July 15, when 148 cases were confirmed.
A spokesperson for Bracknell Forest Council said that the council is ‘ready’ to implement the Government’s Plan B winter restrictions earlier this week.
Plan B involves rolling out controversial ‘vaccine passports’ for access to some events, the reintroduction of the mask mandate for places like supermarkets and doctors surgeries, and could even mean the return to home working.

Total deaths
Sadly, a total of 1,881 have died after testing positive for coronavirus in Berkshire.
The numbers of deaths are accurate up to October 15 of this year.
Recently, for the week October 9 to 15 2021, two deaths were recorded in Reading, two deaths were recorded in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, two deaths were recorded in Slough, and one death was recorded in Wokingham.
