A DETERMINED boy is set for his Olympic dreams after competing in a tough Biathlon earlier this month.
Zach Callinan from Bracknell competed in the British Schools Biathlon Championships in the under 10 boys category on Sunday, October 17.
The eight-year-old had to swim 50 metres and run 800 metres and he came second out of 79 finalists.
He was presented with his medals by Tokyo Olympic gold medallists Joe Choong and Kate French.

Zach has his heart set on competing in the Olympics and has backing from local business A4 Metal Recycling, which meant he could attend the events and continue training at a high level.
Zach is a member of Bracknell and Wokingham swimming club and coached by Nigel Willis (Father of Olympian Andrew Willis) and member of Bracknell athletics club.
His dad Levi Callinan said: "As parents we are incredibly proud of Zach, he always prides himself on being the hardest worker.
"On Monday we had more good news, we received Zach's 11 plus results which he passed with flying colours. This is a testament to his all round attitude and work ethic."
