SKIES will light up across Berkshire this weekend with colourful fireworks ahead of Bonfire night.

A number of displays will be taking place around the county this weekend after Covid-19 restrictions cancelled events last year.

Here are the firework displays and bonfire events that are taking place across Berkshire.

Fireworks displays across Berkshire

Boyn Hill Cricket Club, Maidenhead

Boyn Hill Cricket Club is once again hosting a firework display to celebrate bonfire night.

The event starts at 4pm on Saturday, November 6 in Boyn Grove, Bath Road, Maidenhead. There will be a barbecue and stalls to keep punters entertained.

A bar and food is available and entry costs £5 per person, £15 for a family and under 5's go free.

Windsor

Homer First School in Testwood Road is holding a fireworks display on Bonfire Night.

The event starts at 5.30pm until 7.30pm with refreshments, sweets and glowsticks available to purchase on the night.

The cost of tickets will help towards fundraising for the school, priced at £7 each or £25 for a family.

Under three's go free at the event.

Legoland Windsor

Legoland will be hosting a fireworks spectacular event which includes a full day at the theme park.

Tickets cost £35 online and will make the day out at LEGOLAND even more worthwhile. You can then watch the display in their VIP indoor seated viewing area with food, drinks and much more.

The event runs from Friday, November 5 until Sunday, November 7.

Reading Lions Club

Reading's Lion's Club will be hosting their spectacular fireworks display in Scours Lane on Saturday, November 6.

The event starts at 7pm with a small fairground, hot food and drinks and a licensed bar.

Family tickets cost £18 for up to two adults and three children.

Tickets purchased on the night will be more expensive, and are limited.

Gates are open at 5:30pm, and it’s best to arrive early, to give yourself plenty of time to get parked and on the site ahead of the fireworks.

Newbury Lions Charity Fireworks Spectacular

A charity fireworks display is taking place at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday, November 6.

Gates open at 5.30pm with the display and music kicking off at 7.30pm.

Children's entertainment is also available on the night as well as food and drinks.

Tickets cost £8 for adults and £5 for children aged 5 to 16-year's-old.

Under 5's go free.

Tickets are more expensive on the night.

Burnham Fireworks Night

Bring your friends and family to Burnham's first fireworks and bonfire spectacular show on Friday, November 5 from 3 pm.

Fireworks start at 7 pm at Windsor Lane, Burnham.

Stoke Place

If you fancy seeing the fireworks on Sunday instead venture out to Stoke Place in Stoke Poges, Slough.

The event starts at 4.30pm with fireworks launching into the sky at 6pm.

Tickets are non-refundable. Limited tickets available.

Wokingham Fireworks Spectacular

A massive fireworks display is taking place in Wokingham on Saturday, November 6.

The fun starts at 5.30pm when the funfair opens on Cantley Field for those who choose not to join the procession.

There are rides for young children, as well as scary rides for the older ones!

At 6:00pm the torchlight procession leaves from Market Place in the town centre.

The procession will be led by St Sebastian’s band and various local dignitaries.

The sight of several thousand people with 500 flaming torches walking down Broad Street is truly memorable!

The fireworks start at 7:30pm on Cantley Field and the display will be bigger and better than ever and sure to wow the audience just like previous years.

There will be a number of food vendors providing snacks and drinks for the evening.

All proceeds go to local charities with the target this year to raise £25,000.
