College Town's successful Kwik Cricket team with Martin Bicknell
Taking place in February 2003, the inaugural event was held at the Grange Hotel in the town to recognise the achievements of the talented sportspeople in the Borough of Bracknell Forest.
The format was conducted in a similar way to how the BBC Sports Personality of the Year is run, and with hundreds of nominees and with many in attendance, the event was a huge success.

Former England cricketer Martin Bicknell was also in attendance, as the ex-bowler handed out several of the awards.
