THE leaves are falling and the weather feels colder, the days are shorter and Autumn is well and truly here.
Forests are picturesque during this time of year with red and orange huess hanging overhead whilst the low sun shines through the trees.
With Bonfire Night well and truly over, this weekend is the perfect time to enjoy the peace before the annual stress of the festive period begins.
We've put together this Autumnal walking guide to help you soak up the beautiful green spaces of Bracknell Forest.

Because there's nothing better than being at one with nature with a warm cup of coffee in your hand.
Lily Hill Park
This lovely walking route boasts a Green Flag award and features beautiful trees perfect for that woodland escape.
It's a perfect place to meet for picnics so why not enjoy one sat at one of England's largest picnic benches in Lily Hill Park.
This walking route really lets you connect with nature and the outdoors 56 acres of restored heritage parkland for you to enjoy.
And before you start off your walk, enjoy a takeaway coffee at Ziggy's Outside Catering or a sweet treat to give you that much needed energy boost.
The cafe also has breakfast options including bacon and sausage baps, English muffins and baguettes!
It’s open Wednesday to Friday- 10am to 4.30pm and Saturday to Sunday - 9.30am to 5pm.
Savernake Park/Swinley Forest
This easy walking route can take anywhere between an hour to three (depending on how far you wish to go!)
It's a little hilly in places but it's suitable for walkers of any skill level and dogs love it there too!
The picturesque route will take you through the woodlands and it’s the ideal trail if you are looking for some peace and tranquillity.
Al Crepes and Cafe is one of the closest places that is open for takeaway and it’s less than a five-minute walk from this route’s start point.
While you are there, it would be almost criminal not to sample on of their scrumptious crepes!
It’s open: Friday to Sunday: 12pm - 8pm.
South Hill Park
The gorgeous gardens of Sout Hill Park is a great place to visit with the children. There's a toddler garden with natural play features and a superb nature trail to explore.
There's plenty of wildlife to explore too with squirrels rustling among the brown leaves and makesure to say hello to the swans too.
