POLICE are continuing their investigation after a car smashed into Clarks in Wokingham last week.
The driver of the silver Mercedes E250 collided with the Clarks store on Market Place shortly after midnight, causing extensive damage to the shop front and brickwork.
Police said the driver then reversed out of the shop and drove away from the scene in the direction of Bracknell.
Shortly afterwards, officers in an unmarked police car discovered a heavily damaged silver Mercedes stationary on the side of London Road.
