At a recent meeting of Bracknell Forest Council’s local outbreak engagement board, cllr Marc Brunel-Walker expressed concerns that details of where people can get vaccinations and tests is unclear, with people taking to Facebook to find out where they can get vaccinations and tests.
Cllr Brunel-Walker (Conservative, Crown Wood) said: “On two of the local [Facebook] groups I must have seen 10 or 15 posts in the last couple of hours from people going ‘can I get a walk in still at X Y or Z?’
“There needs to be a better response about explaining where to go for walk-in, and really staple that into people’s heads about where they can get that information and where they can go.
“I think what’s needed is a single source of truth about what to do and where to go.”
