The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Courts: 

January 20

JAMES WHITE, 55, of Mareshall Avenue, Warfield, Bracknell, convicted of assault by beating and breaching a non-molestation order in Bracknell on July 22, 2020. Committed to prison for 20 weeks as offence committed in presence of a child and due to a “lack of remorse”. Must pay £903 in court fees. 
AHUNNA ONYENSO, 44, of Greenham Avenue, Reading, admitted exceeding a 50mph temporary speed limit on the M4 at Waltham St Lawrence on September 26, 2020. Speed recorded was 68mph. Given three points on driving licence. Fined £100 and made to pay £34 victim surcharge. 
COLIN BEAVIS, 58, of Brownfield Gardens, Maidenhead, convicted of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control, namely a husky that injured a man, in Maidenhead on November 22, 2020. Dog ordered to be destroyed subject to appeal within 21 days. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work. Must pay compensation of £2,777.76 
GRAHAM O’CONNOR, 49, of Rambler Lane, Slough, admitted to harassment with intent to cause distress in Slough on December 28, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to take part in up to 20 rehabilitation activity days. Must pay compensation of £100 and £180 in court fees. 


January 21

BRIAN SHARP, 43, of Arnett Avenue, Finchampstead, Wokingham, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Reading on July 22, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £5.60 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees. 
DANIEL FARRELL, 34, of Moor Furlong, Slough, admitted drink driving on Hampshire Avenue, Slough, on December 11, 2021. Caught with 76 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Fined £240 and made to pay £219 in court fees. Banned from driving for 20 months. 
PAUL RAWSON, 47, of Gatewick Close, Slough, convicted of attempted burglary of dwelling in Slough on October 30, 2020. Committed to prism for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months due to the severity of the offence. Ordered to pay compensation of £200. 
JULIAN DAVIES, 42, of Carlton Road, Slough, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Basingstoke on July 23, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £33 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees. 
MICHAEL TEDDER, 42, of Bath Road, Slough, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Reading on July 13, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £13.90 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees. DANIEL BRADLEY, 31, of Katesgrove Lane, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Reading on July 13, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £3.70 and ordered to pay £34 in court fees. 
ANASS FARID, 24, of Short Street, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Reading on July 28, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £26.60 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees. 
LUIZ FRIERE, 28, of Albany Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Reading on July 13, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £2.95 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees. 
SARAH HARRE, 52, of The Nightingales, Newbury, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Newbury on August 4, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £6.00 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees.
COSMIN-CONSTANTIDI MOGODIC, 26, of William Street, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Reading on July 28, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £4.20 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees. 
RICHARD GOULD, 30 of Gainsborough Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Reading on August 3, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £3 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees. 
MARK LOVEJOY, 59, of Beech Hill Road,Spencers Woods, Reading, admitted exceeding the permitted weight of a heavy goods vehicle on Sonning Bridge, Reading on April 15, 2021. Fined £146 and made to pay £214 in court fees. 
STEWART RATCLIFF, 30, of Vernon Crescent, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Windsor and Eton Central on July 19, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £11.80 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees. 
WAHEED SHARIF, 40 of Caversham Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Reading on July 29, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £10.30 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees. 
NIRUSANTHAN SIVALINGAM, 34, of Tilehurst Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without paying a fare in Reading on July 21, 2021. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £10.20 and ordered to pay £214 in court fees.
