A MAN has been charged after three police officers were struck by a car during a routine traffic stop.
Daniel Collins, 30, of no fixed abode, was charged on Friday, January 28, with three counts of assaulting emergency workers, one count of dangerous driving, one count of driving while otherwise in accordance with a licence and one count of driving without insurance.
The charges relate to an incident in the early hours of Sunday, January 16 in Wick Hill Lane, Finchampstead.
A police car was struck by another vehicle and three officers were driven at while conducting a routine traffic stop.
No officers were injured in the incident.
Collins was arrested on Thursday, January 27, and charged the following day.
He appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
