The offenders gained access into a rear garden and after unsuccessfully trying to use a bladed tool to try and force a rear door open they smashed a window and were able to reach a door key.
The house was unoccupied at the time of the burglary.
At this time it is unknown if anything in the property is stolen.
Thames Valley Police said: “Police are appealing for anyone who may have noticed suspicious individuals or vehicles during the relevant time or witnessed the incident or who feels they may have any information to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43220051879.
“To reduce the risk of your home been targeted by opportunist burglars ensure it always appears occupied. If you are out during the evenings use time switches to turn lamps and even a radio on.
